Grab your kids, hop on the bus and go fishin’ for fun and get discounted admission to the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks. That’s right. Tulsa Transit and the Oklahoma Aquarium have teamed up for the final Passport to Fun trip this summer. The special Aquarium/RiverWalk Crossing trip will be Saturday, Aug. 16.
Kids 12 and under who have a Passport to Fun from the June issue of TulsaKids can get their final passport stamp. The first 100 kids boarding the bus will receive a free EZ Rider Day Pass and a free Travel Fun Pack. Adults can get the Adult EZ Rider Day Pass on the bus for only $3, allowing them unlimited rides all day. Kids with the EZ Rider Pass can get into the aquarium free with a paying adult, and adults can get $2 off admission with their EZ Rider Pass (up to 4 people).
You’ll want to visit the newest exhibit at the aquarium, the Hayes Family Ozark Stream, featuring beavers, raccoons and river otters along with Oklahoma fish. After getting nose to nose with a beaver, walking underneath the sharks, or feeling the skin of a stingray, your family will be ready to have a meal, snack or some ice cream at RiverWalk Crossing.
So, spend the day having fun with your kids and let someone else do the driving as you ride out to Jenks to spend a few hours at the Oklahoma Aquarium, then relax and shop at one of the many restaurants and boutiques at RiverWalk Crossing.
Tulsa Transit and the Oklahoma Aquarium have created a terrific family outing, so plan to take the kids on a bus ride on Saturday, Aug. 16.
